Job Description : The Channel Development Traditional Trade Manager PEBAC works with Marketing, Sales, Customer Marketing, Distributors and Customers to identify the channel and category opportunities to guarantee outstanding physical availability and disproportionate sell out growth. She/He will develop the standardized guidelines on Commercial Execution Standards/EDGE, to be delivered to the countries complying with global standards. The incumbent will also work closely with CP&A;, Shopper Marketing and Shopper Planning to uncover and leverage new growth opportunities.
Provides insights from tracking tool to drive learnings back into the wider business and course correct and action plan impacting the capabilities in the local market to drive depletion growth. Key Outputs/Deliverables Collaborate with commercial teams to grow our categories and the share of our brands with their customers. Understands the channel and category strategies finding common ground vision and objectives. Owns and ensures the Commercial Execution Standards/EDGE guidelines and sign off´s Responsible for ensuring the outlet segmentation in key countries is reviewed and up to date at least annually to reflect market changes and business potentials. He/she is responsible to deliver monthly performance management reports for Execution Standards/EDGE and analysis/insights to define when corrective actions are needed following them through to completion. Supports capability development in the CMO organization both internally and with our partners to achieve our Commercial Execution Standards/EDGE in the POS at scale. Responsible for providing standardized planograms for the Commercial Planning & Activation teams, in order for them to ruthlessly focus on executing brilliantly with our customers. Inspires and energizes all our commercial teams, leaders, distributors, customers to plan, execute, measure brilliantly Ensures full compliance with CARM, Diageo Code of Business Conduct, DMC and other key Diageo policies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree required in Business or related field. Fluent English and Spanish required. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and /or customer marketing /trade marketing, shopper marketing areas with specific experience on distributor based businesses. Good understanding about how the total sales organization operates and how to drive its effectiveness. Experience creating alignment across our consumer, shopper and customer agendas. Proven experience leading, coaching teams (own and/or indirect) and effective while working cross-functionally. Ability to work around and within a variety of different market conditions and demographic factors. Strong analytical and presentation skills. Strong influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills, with a range and adaptability of style. Good planning, organization and project management skills. Proactive, self-starter. Ability to manage complexity/ambiguity Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
