**Position Overview**
**Position Title**: Sales Manager Home Appliances
**Location**: Santiago, Chile
**Reports to**:General Manager Home Appliances, Chile
**Job Summary**:
As a Sales Manager for the Home Appliances BU, the primary functional duty is the responsibility for interfacing with customers making sure to cover their needs in terms of availability, pricing, distribution, and quality, through the asses of product needs, analysis of local business environment, acquiring a first-hand understanding of customer capabilities and monitoring the competitive product offer available within the local markets. In addition, you´ll be responsible for increasing the sales revenue, expanding market share in main customers,
executing plans to achieve the strategic objectives related to distribution, pricing, and revenue goals; you would be also in charge for identifying prospective customers as well as cultivating emerging business opportunities in an effort to deepen the distribution reach.
**Specific Responsibilities**:
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Increase sales and profitability of business to drive sustainable growth.
- Manage a team of Key Account Managers, taking responsibility of a full larger customer portfolio.
- Responsible for negotiations within commercial strategy parameters. This includes demonstration and explanation of product features.
- Plans with the overall vision and long term strategy, analysis and insight to the business, this shall include strategic planning, implementation and evaluation over portfolio strategy.
- Responsible for compliance with the overall company goals.
- Supervises POS and coordinate the actions to take with Brand Activation and Digital.
- Pre-Sales and Post-Sales process.
- Responsible for analyze sales data to identify customer performance and optimize sales opportunities.
- Identify prospective new customers.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service Representative to provide delivery information and coordinate the scheduling of sales orders to customers.
- Collaborate with Product Development to provide delivery information in order to recommend new products and opportunity size.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints.
- Monitor the execution of planned advertising and promotional programs.
- Provide monthly financial and business review to ensure plan is on track and within budget.
**Qualifications**
- University degree or above in related discipline.
- 5+ years of relevant experience as an expert in all sales disciplines.
- Working experience in consumer market.
- Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, possesses strong verbal and written communication skills (English (intermediate) and Spanish required).
- 20% travel required.
**Experience**
- Understanding data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Skills: Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of principles and methods for promoting and selling consumer products.
- Solid strategic aptitude combined with exceptional tactical skills.
- Highly organized with a keen appreciation for managing details.
- Must posses a high degree of maturity and the ability to work under pressure/meet deadlines.
- Strong team working skills
- Ability to perform assigned tasks with minimum supervision
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
