**Job Purpose**:






The Virtual Patient Engagement Associate will contribute to shape the future of the virtual communication strategy (incl. social media) of the IM organization and the IM portfolio in order to deliver growth in Chile, in line with strategic priorities. The role is responsible to identify and implement successfully virtual communication initiatives including disease awareness, HCP and patient engagement and corporate communication campaigns as well is internal communication campaigns.**Your responsibilities**:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Drive Virtual Patient communication & Social Media strategy of IM for both corporate as diseases, to drive Multichannel Engagement with patients, HCPs and society in alignment with Corporate Priority to go Big on Digital and Data. Define and ensure implementation of the integrated digital eco-system via social media & road map for all engagement & disease journey at key strategic milestones (e.g. pre-launch, annual strategic planning, strategic reviews).





Identifies and implements new ways to grow the business through social media (eg. AI, Digital, RWE, Multichannel). Determine the overall objectives of creating exceptional interactive/digital customer/patients experiences.
- Provide analytics of social media campaigns to support Novartis internal customers. Provides consultancy, advice and assistance on strategy for brand teams and provides insights for decision making on resource allocation in most optimal ways, through delivery of proven analytics (Clear reports unifying data, Google Analytics of the website via Data Studio).
- Work within Integrity and Compliance policies and ensure those around and reporting to the role to do the same,





complying with Job Excellence Standards in order to contribute to the alignment with Novartis procedures and objectives. Especially relevant is the implementation of proper monitoring of adverse events in social medical campaigns.
- Be the Intermediary between the brand and the Social Media agency (including grid review, weekly follow up meetings, review of content, materials and posts, search and content creation, supervision and changes in the look & feel (logos, graphics, etc,). Be the link with the Media Agency: how much do we invest, how and what? - Request for budget and review of investment and sponsorships. Be responsible of Sourcing, Tendering, Negotiating, Contracting and Ordering of services related to social media campaigns.

**Minimum requirements**

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Education in marketing or social media.
- English and Spanish at a fluent level.
- More than 2 years of experience in Social Media Management.
- Experience leading and implementing complex projects in a matrix environment.
