What You Will Do in This Role:
In this role,
you will be responsible for supporting the commercial team in all topics related to IBP and Demand Planning for all Brown-Forman (BF) brands for African and Latin American customers. You will collaborate with the Regional commercial teams and customers to develop and improve demand forecasts using statistical analysis, as well as collaborating with the global supply planning and supply chain teams. In this role, you will also support the supply chain operations of African and Latin American customers.
What You Will Experience:
Demand Planning & Analysis:
Establish monthly sales forecasts through collaboration with commercial team and customers and maintain google based monthly forecast files by the customer, load shipment forecasts into SAP APO
Conduct monthly/quarterly forecast reviews with the commercial team to provide trend analysis, obtain market insights, update SKU alignments, successfully launch new products
Challenge the forecast updates by customer (considering budget, category and market trends, new product launches, etc.).
Participate in monthly IBP meetings with corporate planning, commercial, and local supply chain teams and regularly prepare relevant key supply chain metrics for B-F’s Emerging International leadership team and the regional supply chain to track levels of business support and operational effectiveness/excellence.
Support the SKU allocation process for new, Value Added Packs, and limited SKUs, plan quantities with commercial teams, manage orders and inventory, and communicate plans and specific country requirements to production, demand planning, and the brand teams.
Support new product development and ensure awareness of upcoming activity and deadlines through multiple stakeholders.
Supply Chain Operations:
Serve as the primary contact in Africa and Latin America regions for supply chain and SKU inquiries so inquiries and issues can be directed to the proper function.
Partner across SC, corporate, and regional functions to ensure the resolution of identified supply chain issues.
Support the market registration teams and regional commercial country managers in ensuring sanitary registration takes place before product launches. Collaborate with the MR team on sanitary registration renewals.
Understand inventory levels in the region to identify OOS risks, and flag these within the IBP Process to identify supply issues or constraints.
Collect and upload annual Africa and Latin America gift allocations
Identify and monitor region SMOG,
provide regional country managers visibility of slow mover inventory so SMOG depletions strategies can be implemented.
Support Africa and Latin America local projects with supply chain impact during implementation, and execution, such as NPD, Portfolio Changes, and Packaging Changes.
We Are Looking For People Who:
- Education: College/University (Bachelor or Equivalent); Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or closely related field- Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 2 - 4 years of planning or related business experience; or 4 - 6 years of combined education and experience in business, finance, supply chain management, or related discipline- Fluent in English and Spanish- Prior experience in Demand/Supply Planning review and leading S&OP; meetings- Ability to travel up to 10%
