**About Us**
Merama is seeking to become the best and largest online group of brands in Latin America. Our business model consists on partnering with the leading merchants across Latin America (with a focus on Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Colombia and Chile) and, with our team, capital, and technology, fueling additional hypergrowth. Unlike the dozens of Amazon aggregators that have popped up over the past few years, Merama is solely focused on Latin America, partners with very few merchants, and does not purchase companies outright. **Our Team**
The Supply Chain team builds foundational partnerships with innovative manufacturers and integrated logistics providers to unlock architectural adaptability. We employ today's leading digital technologies to enable super-agility to navigate daily supply and operational challenges. We are charged with designing and executing world-class sourcing, logistics, fulfillment,
and operational excellence strategies for our merchants and brands.
**Role for You**
As an International Logistics Analyst, you have experience in global logistics covering all modalities: including air, ocean, rail, and cross-border shipments. You will run key tasks for our merchant's operations including international shipment execution, and financial and operational analysis, and collaborate closely with our logistics partners, internal teams, and sellers to delight our customers with top-tier performance.
**Main Responsibilities**
- Execute all international freight shipment activities based on production and business needs.
- Review and ensure that the quotes provided by logistics providers are competitive and booked on the correct allocation.
- Collaborate with team members and others to provide guidance and support on best practices of the import and export process.
- Provide shipment information to our logistics providers. Monitor and support our merchants to carry out their operations successfully.
- Deal with logistics providers and track Merama's direct imports.
- Keep an updated register of all Merama direct imported products.
- Run weekly calls with merchants' counterparts and troubleshoot logistics challenges while showcasing true partnership and excellent soft skills.
**You have these**:
- Professional career in Logistics, Foreign Trade, International Business, or related.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in international logistics, operations, and foreign trade.
- Experience in daily operations with various logistics providers, customs agents, freight forwarders, etc.
- Be data-driven. Proficiency with financial modeling, dashboards, data analytics, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Powerbi.
- Experience working with E-Commerce, Consumer Goods, Ocean Carrier, or Top-tier Freight Forwarder.
- Advanced English proficiency.
**We'd love it if you also had these**:
- Familiarity with the preparation of documents for compliance and regulations.
**Where you are located**:
- Ideally inSantiago Metropolitan area. Work where you do your best work and come to the office for team meetings and collaboration sessions a few times a month.
