**Role details**:
- Translates the Group Strategic business plans (including growth targets) into business development, sales and operational plans to meet the business objectives in the country.
- Drives growth of the country through expanding the sales network, and driving efficiencies.
- Holds responsibility for the P&L; and balance sheet of the region. Responsible for ensuring regional compliance with company policies with regards AML, CTF, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery and other such policies as directed by the Group Board. This will include conducting internal audits, liaising with external bodies and liaising with the Group Compliance experts.
- Ensures that the country's employees,
branches and corporate documentation is consistent with the Group Corporate branding. Manages appropriate and targeted marketing campaigns for the region.
- Ensures that the country feels part of the Small World Group through regular global updates, connecting relevant staff to key personnel in Group and acting as a champion for the Group.
- Lead contact point in that country for government agencies, banks and regulators. Responsible for the leadership, direction and motivation of the team(s) in the country.
- Maintains and nurtures key relationships with suppliers and agents.
- Liaison with Group functions in handling HR, legal, finance, Business Development and Compliance matters, including any legal or litigation cases that arise in the country.
