** Your Role **:Order Management / Freight Management service solutions are increasingly becoming ‘permission to play’ for a wider range of customers (crossing industries, verticals and modes). They are not the preserve of large customers (as they once were)). Covid-19, Container crisis’s and other factors are making organizations reflect on the level of control they need for their supply - Service, Value and Risk, and realizing that they need to become better.
It is likely that in the coming few years we will see a tipping point where the volumes associated with these customers become the majority of our business, and as competitors / carriers increasingly digitize their services then there is a potential that the blueprint of the ISC service actually will become the blueprint for Kuehne +Nagel’s Sea Logistics general service.
** Your Responsibilities**:
- Own the country / cluster strategy for ISC, and align with Regional / Global Vision.
- Own and prioritize the pipeline, delivering growth requirement for strategic targets (financial and volume)
- Co-ordinate teams to focus on winning ISC service customers, whilst making sure the customer promise is operationally achievable
- Constructively challenge our business to ensure our proposition and solutions are compelling to customers, whilst economically viable for Kuehne + Nagel
- Lead the expansion of services in to new industry sectors and across modes / geographies
- Lead the ISC team
- Responsible for the tactical and strategic development of the KN International Supply Chain Product across the Country / Cluster
- Provide leadership to the existing ISC team to ensure we deliver and exceed operational commitments and development agendas for our current established clients.
- Drive growth through the successful landing of new clients.
- Work closely with the regional and global ISC team, sharing best practices.
- Drive maximum business growth with current clients across all business units
- Supporting new business opportunities to drive growth in KN ISC
- To use KN Network to identify new Client opportunities
- Engage current clients and associated team and develop plans to further strengthen K&N; Value proposition.
- Create marketing material (ISC presentation, case studies, newsletters)
- Share best practices across the organization
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- Minimum 5 Years Global Commercial Supply Chain Management experience in senior roles
- Ability to communicate, build networks, and influence at all levels of the organization, and with customers.
- Positive change agent, committed to constantly evolving service propositions, profitable growth and cost reduction.
- Ability to indirectly lead teams to deliver targets to deadlines (across global geographies)
- Ability to define entrepreneurial business solutions to identify new opportunities and generate non-freight revenue and add value to our Customers.
- Passion for personal / career development of themselves and others,
resulting in a wider value delivery for KN and / or our customers.
- Superb prioritization skills, enabling finite resources to be appropriately deployed in a world of almost infinite opportunity
