PURPOSE
The purpose of this position is to support retail growth and increase profitability by designing a training strategy and implementing training programs for the retail organization for both field a home office.
This position ensures success
- Execution of all training programs and is accountable for implementing training that supports the foundational and growth initiatives in retail for the market. The position supports all retail stores and channels including
- Owned & Operated and Franchise stores in the market, including supporting ongoing new stores and AMA and global product training projects
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a Learning and Development Strategy to drive results andknowledge locally
- Use all tools created by the region to drive the business
- Develop the Retail training strategy and agenda for both Home Office and Field ensuring a comprehensive program is established and maintained locally
- Responsible for deploying training for new store openings, training the trainer and ensuring
all new team members have a comprehensive understanding of our operations, policies,
products, service models and sales generation in line with regional guidance
- Deploy Field Store Training Managers and provide leadership, tools and ongoing communication for store managers taking on added training responsibility in each district
- Collaborate with the regional retail team and as a member of the market team, determine the
strategic direction and priorities to create learning solutions that positively impact business
- Work with HR and Recruiting to develop a comprehensive talent agenda for Retail locally
- Align with Learning and Development team to ensure the training strategy supports achievement of company-wide initiatives and goals
- Continuously evaluate training programs to recommend continued improvements to the regional team
- Work with regional partners to ensure regional training needs are met and local tailoring is effective
- Facilitate training to ensure high level of engagement and interaction providing tools reflective of the culture and business requirements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing other related field preferred.
- You have 5-6 year’s experience leading cross-functional retail teams in a global apparel company
- You are fluent in Spanish and English.
- Strong analytical mindset:
skilled at interpreting KPIs and leveraging data-driven insights; competent in forecasting and delivering against revenue and trade forecasts
- You have a strong awareness of the Levi's brand, product, and customer
