As a Design System Manager, you will:
1. Work closely with UX and UI Designers across multiple squads to create design consistency from digital platforms.
2. Work closely with product owners and developers to prioritize and manage the design system backlog and align it with product team sprints.
3. Establish, maintain and promote UX/UI design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
4.
Understand and measure the impact of design system updates across multiple products.
5. Promote designing for accessibility.
6. Implement processes for design and engineering teams to utilize the company's design system, keeping it consistent and updated.
7. Review interfaces for design system implementation and needed iterations to the system.
8. Strong understanding of research, the product development lifecycle, and UX design process.
9. Keep up with and educate the team about new or changing research methods and trends.
10. Analyze information from multiple resources including consumer trends, competitors, user experience labs, search and social activity, to bring improvements and strategies to both current design and processes.
11. Combine data-driven and user-centric methodologies for better results.
You must have:
1. 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer.
2. 2+ years of experience as a Design System Manager.
3. Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, Adobe Family, and prototype tools.
4.
Knowledge in design system tools, such as Storybook and Zeroheight.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize data for the best possible outcome, with a spirit for innovation.
7. A great team player, experienced in working with agile teams.
8. Advanced English level.
