**About the Role**:
As a Manager Product Portfolio, you will play a key role supporting Digital Factory projects that fundamentally change BHP’s performance across safety, productivity and people performance.





The Digital Factory is BHP’s approach to rapidly design and develop digital products (software-focused, mínimal or no hardware) that provide solutions to operational challenges that are currently being addressed through manual methods.

The work:
The Program Manager will be accountable for;
- Governing DF program dependencies and conflicts and ensure operations comply with business regulations, internal control and standards
- Aligning the product execution objectives to corporate business strategy through regular communication with senior stakeholders
- Procurement of hardware, software, licensing and other peripheral enablers that helps teams deliver better (note: this does not include procurement of product-specific hardware and software as part of product development)
- Managing vendor relations, contracts and hiring from vendor partners
- Exploring new and strategic vendor and external partnerships on behalf of the Digital Factory






- Managing the finances and budgeting for the Digital Factory and facilitating decisions /approvals affecting the program within delegated authority
- Facilitating, chairing and driving agenda for the Digital Factory at DF and Asset leadership meetings, floor walks etc.
- Motivating and influencing DF members to create a team ethos that encourages innovation and quick actions.
- Spread agile practices within your team and with your peers
- Efficiently structure the cells under your charge, guaranteeing the value of your portfolio.

**About You**:

- Computer Civil Engineer or Industrial Civil Engineer
- Courses and/or certifications in agility
- 5+ years’ experience in IT area, with 5+ year experience in large scale program management and agile cells






- Experience in structuring governance framework and management skills at both projects and program level
- Mastery in financial management and budgeting, experience working with senior stakeholder management to remove barriers to program for success.
- Experience in procurement and contract negotiations across the program
- Have experience or demonstrated interest in digital product development;
- Have experience delivering improvement at scale;
- Have a deep commitment and passion for delivering portfolios of initiatives;
- Have good understanding of, and proven skills in, work process analysis and improvement.
- Have strong communication skills and proven ability to engage and build relationships across multiple layers and functions of the organization from senior management to mine site leaders and operators.






- Have strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
