Summary
As a Purchasing Analyst working for Taylor Morrison, you will audit our supply chain capacity, vendor relationships, and purchasing history to develop a high-level view of our current organizational strengths and opportunities for improvement. You will create and present reports to purchasing managers and key leadership indicating specific recommendations to improve supply chain efficiency and overall profitability, as well as lead focused teams to liaise with departments during implementation.

What You’ll Do
- Gathering and analyzing data to maximize supply chain resources
- Interpreting gathered data
- Perform regular audits of all supply chain processes,
including vendor relationships and purchasing trends to identify opportunities for improvement
- Analyze current market trends and forecasting future performance of goods and services
- Work closely with suppliers and vendors to create close, efficient relationships and processes
- Helping management and other teams draw business goals and needs
- Establishing new data gathering and analysis techniques within the organization
- Keep abreast of local market emerging trends vs material commodity pricing
- Establish and maintain a database to organize track, and forecast material and labor needs and price changes
- Assist with monthly job cost forecast
- Analyze take rates and trends for sales options
- Run financial proformas to assist in underwriting
- Organize and maintain detailed electronic and paper files for all reporting
- Collaborate with various departments including Architecture, Purchasing, Finance, Warranty and Construction
- Perform other duties as assigned

You might be just who we’re looking for if you have
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, planning, construction management, business, supply chain management, economics, or a relevant field
- 2-4 years of experience in finance, data analytics, or supply chain management
- Ability to analyze market and financial data to drive decision making process
- Self-starter with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Strong work ethic and sharp attention to detail
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
FLSA Status: Exempt

- Office or non-manual work, which is directly related to management or general business operations
- Act as a primary component of which involves the exercise of independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance

- Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
- Ability to oversee direct reports daily and provide guidance as needed
- Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
- Ability to have face to face conversations with customers, co-workers and higher level manager
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and move around work environment as needed
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Comply with company policies and procedure
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Taylor Morrison experience and/or successful completion of training program may override required education and/or experience requirement.
