**Job Description**:
**Job Scope**
Responsible for identifying business opportunities to increase Visa acceptance and enhance payment experience working together with Key Merchants from the relevant segments such as retails, airlines among others in Chile. In this role he/she will also be focused increase VISA cobrand portfolios, VISA digital agenda and CYBERSOURCE Solutions for sellers.
The position will be working with key merchants, and other internal and external stakeholders. Position will be based at the Visa office in Santiago de Chile.
**Responsibilities**
- Support the implementation of the MS&A; Strategy for the country in coordination with the regional MS&A; team and the Chilean office with close collaboration with the country manager.
- Identify, develop and lead the management of key merchant accounts.
Add value to strategic merchants through the development and implementation of initiatives that increase acceptance and use of Visa products with strong emphasis in digital solutions.
- Responsible for building the business case, define success KPIS, measuring and monitoring the results of those activities.
- Responsible for managing cobrands portfolio and ensuring financial and commercial goals accomplishment, keeping strong relationships with clients.
- Develop and lead the strategic alliances with key merchants, and other stakeholders to achieve brand preference including initiatives related to product, marketing, innovation, and digital solutions
- Analyze market data to identify Merchant and Acquiring development opportunities in line with the plans
- Position will be responsible for managing the budget assigned to ensure implementation of plans is done on a timely basis and within available resources.
**Reporting Relationships & Interactions**
- Position will report to Head of Merchant Sales & Solutions in South Cone and to Chile Country Manager.
- He/she will interact internally with Sales, Products and Marketing teams, among others, and the MS&S; Local, Regional and Global teams.
- Externally the position will interact with several stakeholders, including key merchants and Third Party Agents.
- Knowledge and understanding of retail, innovation or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes; merchant/retail experience in the designated markets is required
- Marketing knowledge,
- Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance is required.
- Sales and/or Industry Management experience
- Excellent business planning and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and engage multiple levels of management
- Ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
**Qualifications**:
Knowledge Required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in retail or payments industry preferable
- Fluent in English
- Ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations
- Ability to identify and implement business projects
- Excellent presentation skills
Experience & Education Required
- Bachelor’s Degree "business/ economic"
- MBA desirable
