**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits
- Evaluate client safety programs
- Attend meetings, as requested
- Ensure client compliance with all applicable and appropriate jurisdictional laws
- Assist the organization with the development of training, standards, protocols, best practices, etc. in support of continuous quality improvement
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience in an EHS | Construction role
- Two (2) years of experience in a safety consulting role
- Demonstrated experience conducting audits and developing Corporate Health & Safety Plans, Site Specific Health & Safety Plans, and other written safety programs
- Ability to work 8 hours per month
**PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE***:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline related to Environmental, Health and Safety
- Industry certifications and credentials
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES***:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent group facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Ability to be flexible including job/project assignment changes
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage and resolve conflict
- Ability to balance multiple priorities to meet expected deadlines
- Ability to operate in fast paced environment
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
