**The Headlines**:
In the role of **Field Sales Manager** based in **Santiago, Chile** you will be part of the Emerging team.





The Field Sales Manager acts as MCI's "on the ground" representative in the territory and assists the Country Manager in managing the market by helping the two distributors that we have in Chile execute against the agreed Annual Operating plan. The role acts as a day to day contact point for the distributor, and works with their sales team to help them execute agreed Commercial.

**The Field Sales Manager** acts as MCI's "on the ground" representative in the territory and assists the Country Manager in managing the market by helping the distributor execute against the agreed Annual Operating plan. The role acts as a day to day contact point for the distributor, and works with their sales team to help them execute agreed Commercial Excellence programs such as merchandising and visibility programs as well as with the marketing team on the development of promotional activities. The role also ensures that we execute against our MCI Export Playbook and that our partner submits to us our monthly report which includes the agreed key operational data.







**The Responsibilities**:

- Assists the two distributors in executing against the agreed Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and ensuring that activities are on track and within the agreed budget for Brand marketing Expenditure (BME). Responsible for working with the distributor to prepare the monthly market report which contains all of our key distribution, pricing & execution data
- Acts as the first contact point for the two distributors, feeding back any customer service or logístical issues to the GM and helping to resolve them. Responsible for submitting START papers for any projects relevant to the market and expediting these projects through our stagegate process






- Develops an in-depth expertise of the marketplace and understands who our distributor’s key customers are and makes our distributors aware of any opportunities within them. Assists in the annual operating planning process, working with the GM to prepare plans for the year ahead
- Acts as the first contact point for the distributors, feeding back any customer service or logístical issues to the GM and helping to resolve them. Responsible for submitting START papers for any projects relevant to the market and expediting these projects through our stagegate process
- Works with the distributors field sales team to manage our commercial program which is about segmenting accounts (Gold, Silver, Bronze) and ensuring we have visibility within them as per our agreed "picture of success" for the market.





Ensures that we have the right marketing point of connection materials, working with the MCI marketing managers in Chicago and Miami. Assists as required in other commercial programmes such as new distribution drives, or presentations to key customers to gain listings

**The **Other **Q**ualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing
- Understands brands and marketing, a skilled communicator who can build effective relationships with different stakeholders at different levels of seniority
- Strong business acumen
- Good relationship building skills
- Beer or beverage industry (or Consumer Packaged Goods) sales or marketing experience (an asset)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (essential)
