**About the Role**:
The Cloud Engineer's primary responsibilities will be:
- Drive technology decisions to develop the cloud infrastructure and platforms through automation.
- Deliver best in class scalable and secure cloud infrastructure and enabling architecture across a breadth of different platforms and technologies.
- Develop new reusable cloud native services / components to support new architectures.
- Embed all required cyber controls needed to secure the developed cloud component.
**About You**:
- Significant experience designing and provisioning production grade cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
- Hand-off experience with Infrastructure as Code.
- Knowledge of SQL and No-SQL databases principles and Python languages.
- Knowledge of Agile/Iterative development, test-driven development.
- Experience with DevSecOps and Cybersecurity, controls and best practices.
- At least 3 years of experience in Infrastructure design and delivery.
- Broad experience across a few full stack enterprise architecture designs for infrastructure delivery focused on automation with in-depth skills with Terraform, Ansible, Bamboo, CircleCI, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation, ARM templates).
- Experience implementing cloud responsibility shared model: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and CaaS (Container as a Service).
Desirable intermediate level of English
WORK DAY IN THE LIFE OF: 1) 40% - DevOps: Terrraform, IaaC, CI/CD, Automated Testing, Pipelines. 2) 30% - Core cloud concepts. 3) 10% - English. 4) 10% - Continuous learning. 5) 10% - Self-management, proactive, goal oriented.
CERTIFICATIONS: AWS practitioner, Azure Fundamentals. (mandatory). Terraform: Certification Terraform Associate. (mandatory), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) (Plus), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (Plus)
