Vacasa has a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-growing chilean team.
Work side-by-side with team members on the creation and implementation of functional, engaging mobile apps for the Vacation Rental market. Your contributions will directly enhance the user experience for guests, owners, as well as support diverse business needs for employees and field operations personnel. Vacasa promotes from within, so there will be ample opportunities to grow as an individual contributor or manager as your career progresses.
**What you'll do with your team**
- Build mobile apps with maximum reliability, security, speed, and scalability
- Work collaboratively with other teams - both within the department and throughout the organization
- Lead architecture and design decisions within your team
- Grow your team through mentoring in mobile technologies
- Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and architecture discussions
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and industry standards
**Skills you'll need**
- Fluent English
- 5+ years engineering work experience
- Deep familiarity with native mobile app development
- iOS development experience, preferably using Swift
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful API interfaces
**Nice to have**
- Completed a B.S./M.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript
- AWS Serverless tech
- Experience in hospitality or travel industry
