**Summary of the Role**:
Andes Mainstream Renewable Power has embarked on the first phase of a 3 year, construction plan and development a Potfolio of 2700 MW in development phase. The company has decided to create an area called Development Origination and Innovation, which requires having the profile of Development Project Manager New Market and Technology.

The person who performs this position must study the markets where the company wants to invest in LATAM, learn the regulations and evaluate different technological alternatives that adapt depending on the available natural resources and the existing regulation.

To do this, you must work together with the other areas of the company to carry out the necessary analyzes for the Financial Closings and study in detail the advantages and disadvantages of the technologies that are required to be evaluated for the development of new projects.

**What you will do?**







As Development Project Manager New Market and Technology, you will be responsible for carrying out the studies and analyzes that allow evaluating the development of projects in Chile as well as in new markets in LATAM. Your key responsibilities comprise of the following:

- Evaluate the opportunities for wind and solar projects in LATAM, focused on Chile, Colombia and Panama
- Plan and develop the scope, cost, term and quality of the projects under study.
- Study the regulation and the different scenarios that may influence the MRP entry market in the LATAM countries where investment is evaluated
- Prepare technical and administrative documents and presentations that allow substantiating the studies carried out to justify a MRP entry and share them with the rest of the team involved






- Prepare the documentation, strategy and budget required to implement the entry of the country, working together with the areas involved
- Study and analyze new technologies that could be implemented in Chile and LATAM, review the LCOE, and elaborate the Development strategy for each technology when MRP decide to implement the technology
- Maintain project information in an orderly, traceable and easily accessible manner for the rest of the work team authorized to access it.
- Review and anticipate possible problems/risks and deliver recommendations to the work teams and respective management

**For the above you will need to**:

- Liaise and cooperate with other functional and regional teams






- Engaging and managing technical and commercial consultants
- Significant autonomy in work, but a strong reporting and approval process using Mainstream’s procedures and processes (based on PMI® PMBOK®)
- Interaction with the relevant in-house teams - Solar & Wind analysis, GIS, engineering, Grid connection, environmental, permits, communications & communities, construction and operation
- Participate in company knowledge sharing groups which focus on sharing of expertise globally.
- Be an orderly, methodical person, eager to learn new and challenging things

**What we require?**:

- A high standard of commitment with Safety, assuming safety as a priority value in all its task and responsibilities. (mandatory).
- Project development management in the power generation industry.





Experience in renewable energies and knowledge of other markets are an advantage.
- Knowledge in the management and administration of contracts, preparation and control of programs and budgets
- Oral and written communication skills, especially the development of reports.
- Ability to use Microsoft software as well as specialized software packages such as AutoCAD, MS Project and SharePoint.
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

**Accountabilities**
- Project safety -implementing and enforcing Mainstream’s SHEQ processes and procedures.
- Ensure that the project is developed within the scope, cost, deadline and quality established.
