In Chile, Mainstream owns 1.3GW of fully contracted wind and solar projects in operation, in construction or at late stage development, due to its unprecedented success in government auctions. In Asia, the company is developing large-scale projects in Vietnam and the Philippines. Mainstream has raised more than €1.6bn in project finance to date and employs over 200 staff across six continents.

**Summary of Role**:
The Procurement Specialist will report to the Procurement Manager located in Chile. This role will Coordinate the purchasing and tracking of goods and services for all Mainstream Latam operating and corporate functions in a timely and cost-effective way (in accordance with appropriate quality standards and specifications) and will drive the purchasing process within Andes Mainstream Chile business including adherence to approved policy and procedures.







The role will build and develop relationships with all suppliers and screen, evaluate and select key business partners, while identifying opportunities to lower costs and secure agreements with suppliers through active negotiation, managing key supplier relationships and using the combined purchasing power of Mainstream Latam affiliates.

In addition, this function will support Development, Construction, Operation and Community departments with key local contracts throughout the lifecycle of the projects and will support central procurement activities and knowledge-sharing across the group.

**The key responsibilities of the role comprise the following**:







- Receive purchase requests for goods and services from the Business Owner and obtain quotations in accordance with company policy and communicate quotations to the Business Owner.
- Coordinate tender processes within the Business Owner.
- Place purchasing activities with suppliers in accordance with company policy.
- Maintain contractual records and documentation during the tender processes pre-contract award.
- Track Purchasing activity until completion.
- Purchase Orders, and Request for Proposal (RFP)/lnvitation for Bid (IFB)/Request For Qualification (RFQ).
- Revision and ensure quality of procurement documents (drawings, specification, standard, etc.) and integrating lessons learned into Employer’s Requirements.
- Assisting the Procurement Manager with updating and maintenance of procurement operating procedures, control document,





procurement indicators and suppliers’ costs database.

- Degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Approximately 2-3 years Strong purchase, tender management ability and understanding of contracting methodologies.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Strong coordination skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft software as well as specialist software packages such as MS Word, Excel, Project, MS Dynamics 365 and SharePoint.
- Advance English.
