Main Tasks
The main objective of this role is to deliver Marel Software services and projects to Marel’s customer
- Configuration and deployment of Marel Software in Level 1 projects according to documented specification
- Provides user training for customers and internal training for Marel employees
- Assist with in-house activities related to Marel Software projects server pre-builds and project support in both level 1 and 2 projects
- Accountable for providing a well-documented Level 1 solution to the customer
- Support Level 2 project teams
- Provide Level 1 support to technical issues, internally as well as for customers
- Focus on software connections in L1 - L2 projects
- Creates knowledge base articles both for new configurations and for solving known issues
- Provide on-site delivery of services to customers for running Marel Software systems, including add-ons, modifications, maintenance and upgrades
- Provide services to fulfil scheduled Service Level Agreement tasks
Skills and Abilities
- Professional in configuring and deploying Marel Software device connectors
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to document and explain technical specification
- Good people skills and works well within a team
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems
Understanding and experience of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems on PCs and servers
- Ability to troubleshoot network problems including TCP/IP, Ethernet, cabling, switches
- Familiar with remote access-related hardware/software utilities/service products
- Relevant experience in a Service Desk or Call Centre environment is a plus
- Ability to train others
- Ability to connect different devices using standard protocols
- Ability to travel abroad (up to 30%)
