**Focus Areas**
Reporting to a regional Senior Leader in Chile or Mexico, this role will focus on helping our new business to provide advisory services and sustainability solutions to clients working to accelerate their climate change goal implementation, mainly across Mining and Natural Resources, Heavy Industries and Light (including but not limited to Food & Beverages).
Our team leverages proven technical expertise in industrial operations, GHG quantification and accounting, an understanding of climate change regulations, policies,
and actions to help our customers and clients solve their most complex sustainability challenges.
**Primary Responsibilities**
ENGIE Impact is seeking a Decarbonization Solutions Analyst, a passionate, analytical, highly-collaborative and detailed-oriented critical thinker who can communicate insights with precision while working on selected workstreams across client assignments. As an Analyst, you will work on internal and external engagements alongside ENGIE Impact’s Sustainability Solutions team of professionals. Your sustainability projects will cover a variety of sectors and topics and range from strategy to technical advisory. Some of your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting working **research **with external resources on specific industry trends, markets,
or sustainability technologies
- Structuring and leading **expert **analysis **of data to develop unique insights
- Developing and preparing high-quality **client-facing materials **(documents, models, matrixes, etc.) to be leveraged in end to end large scale transformation
- Planning and preparing impactful **stakeholder meetings **using best-in-class digital facilitation techniques and advanced technology
- Helping to contribute to **business process designs **to help streamline our internal operations
- Frequently collaborating with and receiving coaching from our senior leadership team
**Qualifications**:**Preferred Qualifications**
A successful Analyst, Decarbonization,
within the Sustainability Solutions team at ENGIE Impact will typically meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, business, economics, applied sciences, environment, or sustainability from a preeminent university with a stellar academic record required
- A minimum of 1 year of professional experience preferred, ideally with a competitive consulting firm or professional services company
- Fluent verbal and written English & Spanish skills essential
- Native or Bilingual Spanish language skills required
- Experience leveraging digital tools, advanced analytics, programs and databases including but not limited to MS Office, Tableau, Power BI, PowerQuery, R, Python, MatLab preferred
- Solid consulting skillset - collaborative teaming, financial analysis,
issue-based problem solving, slide writing, communication, and facilitation
- Experience working on quantitative issues with simulation models, especially in the energy, preferred
- Exposure to or professional knowledge of engineering of power systems and/or techno-economic analysis of energy systems appreciated
- Capacity to engage with senior stakeholders and ability to manage deadlines
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as autonomously
- Deeply passionate about sustainability and inherently curious
- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment that is fast-paced and oftentimes ambiguous
