The Communications function shapes Nike’s story to inform, inspire and connect our internal and external communities. We do this by cultivating authentic relationships, while telling engaging and impactful stories to help our employees and the world connect with Nike’s brand, purpose and products. The position’s mission is to design and execute different communication and influencer marketing plans according to the different interest groups or established target audiences (internal and external).

This role will support the creation and drive compelling and strategic stories and campaigns that map to key business drivers for the Nike Chile business.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a Chile’s Influencer & Communications Marketing Manager, you will report directly to the Chile’s Marketing Director.
This role will be responsible for leading a diverse and connected team focused on the following core duties:
- Be a key driver and participant in the development of stories to successfully enhance and promote Nike’s brand, reputation and guiding principles, as well as mission,
vision and positioning. You will explore new strategies and tactics, particularly digitally focused, to drive compelling storytelling i in Chile.
- With the support of external agencies, work with leadership, corporate narrative & reputation, risk management, strategic planning and issues management.
- You will support strategic and creative storytelling for employees and help manage communication campaigns.
- Develop and drive the Nike story in media through integrated communications programs, initiatives and key events.
- Extend and drive relevant Global, APLA & CaSa Catalyst marketing plans for Santiago.
- Drive and maintain a powerful network and portfolio of cultural catalysts & influencers in Chile,
to energize the brand and Create the Future of Sport*
- Oversee all aspects of Catalyst relationship projects - end to end, including contracts, budget, product support, Marketing and communications
- Drive planning and execution of identified catalyst marketing concepts with internal stakeholders and membership marketing.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
- You will work closely with other Catalyst (influencers) regional teams with a growth mindset to contribute towards the world class influencer team.
- Work cross functionally with all the Brand Marketing but also with other key partners in the organization (sales, HR, GM, Sports Marketing, etc)
WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE
- Leadership Competencies
- 5+ years professional in PR communications and/or influencer and catalyst marketing with a strong focus on cross
- functional marketing.
- Prior cultural marketing experience in Chile and a demonstrable understanding of the consumer, the city and Nike’s position within it, with a track record of making strategic marketing decisions within this environment
- Proven ability to communicate plans across a complex matrix on a corporate, regional and functional basis, including presenting before audiences of various sizes and cultures
- Experience initiating and driving the ideation process and contributing meaningful, innovative strategies to the business at concept stage
- Message development and excellent writing skills are a requirement
- Fluent written and spoken English required
- Bachelor's degree in marketing,
communications, business, PR, journalism or related field required, or relevant combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge in GenZ cultural and sports landscape. Influencer management & relationship building.
