As the **Sourcing Quality Lead** this position can be based in **Lima, Peru or Santiago, Chile** within our Supply Chain Business. You will be responsible for building and managing supplier relationships while verifying technical/quality standards in accordance with Bradken’s requirements.
The Sourcing Quality Lead, with their team will manage supplier capability assessments, supplier quality audits and incoming goods inspection.
You are responsible for qualifying new suppliers and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will also establish and maintain an audit schedule for capturing supplier performance by providing metrics on supplier quality performance.
**Key Technical Criteria**:
- Relevant tertiary education in sourcing, procurement or engineering and/or extensive experience sourcing products in a heavy industrial or foundry environment.
- 5-10 years post-graduate related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Managing a team of quality engineers and inspectors
- Managing suppliers and subcontractors in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of foundry or heavy industrial manufacturing processes
- Problem solvers who use their advanced analytical skills and attention to detail to find innovative solution to quality-related issues.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents such as drawings, specifications and CAD models
- Ability to manage budgets and understand financial reports
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Bilingual in English and Spanish - both written and spoken (required)
