ZeroFox seeks a Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic team and take the lead on the user experience of our unified external cybersecurity SaaS platform. The successful candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive and engaging data-rich user interfaces, a strong emphasis on user-centered design principles, and a proven history of establishing and evolving design teams and systems. This individual will lead our design team and work closely with cross-functional leaders and their teams, including product managers, engineers, operations, and go-to-market teams.
This is a player-coach position with equal emphasis on building the people and processes required for great design and delivering best-in-class product experiences for our users.
Role and Responsibilities
- Own and develop our design system, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience for all users.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define and implement innovative, pragmatic design solutions aligned to our product strategy.
- Advocate for design thinking across the organization, building the team's research and development skills.
- Extend our user research capabilities by coaching best practices and building a set of processes that allow us to better capture insights and data from research and user feedback.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
- Manage and coach other designers and support their growth and development within the team.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, related field,
or equivalent experience.
- Experience in SaaS UX/UI design in a senior role for 5+ years with 1+ years managing people.
- A strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions across multiple platforms, including web and mobile.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
- Experience with user research methods, such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Experience with Angular development.
- Experience with Google Material.
- Experience with Storybook.
