**Introduction**
The Account Technical Leader leads IBM's technical strategy and associated tactical engagements with the client as a trusted IT architecture advisor. Has a strong point of view on Technology Decision Points that will provide the strategic IT architecture the client needs to achieve their business goals. Works closely with the client, Technology MD/Seller, and brand sales to define, document, and execute an IBM Client Technical Strategy (CTS) that is based on the client's business and technical challenges, strategies, and priorities. Through the Client Technical Strategy and the Technology Decision Points, lands and expands the IBM Sales Plays that deliver client value.





They are the leader of the technical POV and technical engagement with the client.

The client views ATL as a trusted partner, non-seller, deeply technical, well connected, and always available for insight, advice, architectural strategy, demo's, PoX, etc.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Leads the technical team through the end-to-end sales process to progress and close opportunities, with effective competitive positioning and experiential engagement of the client.
- Partners with IBM sales and Partner Ecosystem colleagues as needed.
- Identifies, assesses, and closes new business opportunities across portfolio for assigned accounts.
- Uses appropriate architectural methods, thinking, processes, models and assets to guide solution design decisions.

- Strong Architecture Advocates for leading edge technologies and digital transformation, with emphasis on Hybrid Cloud and AI






- Demonstrates the value IBM's technology can bring in the context of the client's industry/business and advantages of IBM's technology versus the competition
- Stays current on IBM technology, strategy and offerings in the industry
- Deep understanding of Industry trends and industry architectures
- Understand how to lead, coordinate, and leverage technical resources from Technical pre-sales to demand and deal progression
