Summary:

Provide leadership to the National ProDealer team for the Doors segment of Owens Corning across Canada and the US. The National Sales Director is responsible for meeting sales targets, understanding and driving profitability, maximizing customer relationships, and regularly collaborating with Operations, Planning, Finance, Engineering, Human Resources, Sourcing, and cross departmental business development teams to meet key business objectives. The position is accountable for driving and improving market penetration to achieve sales growth initiatives. Ensures the Doors sales team meets its commitments to customers and the organization.





Provides key updates to Doors Leaders and Customers through regular internal and external communications. Success is measured by successful strategy execution reflected in revenue generation and profitability of the Doors division segments. This position also requires the team to reflect and reinforce the Doors culture in promoting the entire portfolio of Endura and Masonite manufactured products.

Revenue Accountability: $220-$250M

Team Size: 7 FTE => 7 Direct Reports; All Individual Contributors assigned by Region/Acct + GEMROI Outside Sales Mgrs

Responsibilities:

- At a national level,





leads a team of 7 incumbents whose efforts are intended to ensure consistent access to Masonite door solutions for national and regional builders through large pro dealer network organizations, e.g. BFS, 84Lmbr.
- Grow share of wallet and support ProDealer network expansions.
- The team will own customer relationships and P&L; for specified sub-comp, components, systems and potential white label partnerships.
- Accountable for delivering training to door shops and customer sales staff for all Door products.
- Collaborate to develop joint sales and marketing strategies to deliver against Go To Market strategy.
- Support all down channel initiatives, resolving quality issues and acting as primary point of communication with assigned customers.
- Support all initiatives and activities related to upgrading product mix and expanding share of wallet.






- Develop and foster a culture of continuing success in the Doors Division that aligns with Owens Corning’s strategic direction, purpose and values.
- Utilize sales and profit data to identify those customers, regions and products that will deliver the highest return and develop the supporting sales strategies and organizational alignment to maximize the opportunity.
- Mentor and develop team members with strong coaching skills, specific development plans, and continuing education and training for high potential performers.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual business plan in collaboration with key stakeholders to improve market penetration and achieve sales growth initiatives.
- Organize, plan, and execute events that promote sales growth and brand awareness, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.






- Engage with customers through appropriate channels, gathering and reporting customer feedback to improve products and services.
- Provide product demonstrations and technical support to customers, and incorporate market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster loyalty and long-term partnerships.
- Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and track sales activities, establishing a feedback loop with the product development team to communicate customer needs and suggestions for product improvements.
- Develop and implement innovative selling techniques and promotional strategies to enhance market penetration.






- Identify opportunities for performance improvement within the sales and marketing processes, implementing best practices and engaging with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of marketing activities with overall business goals and strategies.
- Prepare and manage the operating budget.
- Track and monitor expenditures to assure proper accruals are in place and payments are made.
- Develop strong partnerships with the product leadership team and provide thorough and consistent feedback on competitors, markets, service, and quality supported by facts and data.
- Partner with peer sales leaders and business leaders to develop annual strategies and tactics that support our corporate strategies and goals that are clear and obtainable.






- Participate regularly and represent sales and customer interests and needs on cross functional teams and special projects across the organization.
- Closely coordinate senior leadership and executive involvement with strategic account management as required.
- Proactively assess, clarify, and validate strategic account needs through routine business reviews; coordinate the involvement of colleagues, including operations, customer service, and management to clearly understand and meet strategic account performance objectives and expectations.
- Build an excellent reputation for service with customers; develop new and fresh strategies to respond to their concerns and work with colleagues to ensure high customer satisfaction ratings and prompt problem resolution.

train and continuously develop sales team members.
- Manage day-to-day performance of team members and deliver performance reviews.
- Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement.
- Perform sales travel reporting and follow up to include:
- Consistent travel based upon affecting business plan and related activities.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience; business and marketing majors preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of sales leadership experience and 10+ years of technical sales experience in B2B selling; building industry preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of growing sales within a territory.
- Strong interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.
- Ability to have exceptional understanding and technical knowledge of products and customers.
- Requires a legal driver’s license with the ability to travel via vehicle or plane from city to city or state to state.
