Your role at Clorox :
Leads cross-functional teams (i.e., marketing, sales, engineering, R&D; product development, marketing research, and others as needed) to deliver High value & high complex projects (time constrained, medium to high complexity, share gaining) for new products and / or significant cost savings.
Performs all the project management activities to assure the competition of the project.
In this role, you will :
The Senior Project Manager acts as primary liaison between general management leadership teams and project teams. Leads projects from initiation (charter) through technical transfer.
Organizes the cross-functional activities to ensure completion of the project / product on schedule on budget and within charter constraints.
Ensures the development of risks & contingency plans. Implements contingencies as needed. Challenges team assumptions for clarity and congruency.
Pushes leadership teams to make key decisions timely. Is considered a key business partner and leader by Category stakeholders.
Create and maintain strong linkages to the SCS and Planning organizations to ensure alignment and ownership of project / process changes.
Coach and develop peers as required.
Key Responsibilities :
Drive top-line, margin, and / or share growth by leading challenging High value & high complex projects Develop and maintain a high performing organization of enthusiastic owners through active listening, challenging,
direction setting, coaching, and execution.
Develops and facilitates training / on boarding of new Project Managers; Maintains training documentation
Leadership team influence through data analysis, facts, and critical assessment. Development and ownership of specific tools and processes within Supply Chain Solutions Organization
Proactively drive process compliance, explicitly declare breakdowns and achieve related goals for those areas of responsibility.
Actively participate in Continuous Process improvement efforts.
Advances project management functional knowledge of others through coaching, mentoring

What we look for :
Years and Type of Experience :
8-12 years leading project teams or organizations.
Required Qualifications :
Strong business and project leadership skills, assertive and respectful, self directing, able to lead up and down the organization without authority, willing to hold others accountable.
Strong communication and listening skills.
Desired Qualifications :
A Broad Functional knowledge (Legal, Regulatory, Manufacturing, R&D;, Finance and Accounting, and Marketing).
Broad industry experience with a preference for Consumer Packaged Goods
Knowledgeable in stage gate process and Project management practices (a certified, professional project manager is desired)
Education Level / Degree :
Bachelor’s degree required (engineering / technical degree preferred) or equivalent working experience.
MBA preferred
